Base Salary
$168k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable distributed services for AWS End User Computing and WorkSpaces.
- Lead the design and architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling considerations.
- Drive implementation across distributed teams and influence the team’s technical direction.
- Lead large, fast-moving projects and solve ambiguous or undefined challenges.
- Mentor engineers and contribute as a technical lead or engineering team leader.
- Architect, secure, and operate Amazon Web Services environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience leading large, fast-moving projects and handling ambiguous or undefined challenges.
- Preferred: experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services.
- Preferred: master’s degree or above in computer science or equivalent, or 6+ years of technical work experience.
