Base Salary
$137k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy ML models and pipelines for pacing, bidding, auction, and targeting optimization.
- Improve and scale ML infrastructure and data pipelines with Platform and Infrastructure teams.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to develop and evaluate algorithms through rigorous experimentation.
- Write maintainable code and participate in system design and peer reviews.
- Design and execute lift tests and budget A/B testing with Data Science, Marketing, and Platform teams.
- Build optimization pipelines that account for budgets, fairness, assignment rates, and marketplace KPIs.
- Move models from prototype to production and own systems with significant financial impact.
Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Industry experience building or maintaining machine learning systems in production.
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, statistics, and data modeling.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with Product, Data Science, Engineering, analytics, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with auction systems, bidding, forecasting, budget optimization, advertising, or marketplaces is preferred.
- Experience designing lift tests, experimentation science, or marketplace incrementality is preferred.
