Base Salary
$176k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Secure enterprise technologies including SaaS applications, corporate endpoints, office networks, and Business/Data Intelligence tools.
- Modernize endpoint management and security architecture across macOS, iOS, Windows, and Linux devices.
- Manage endpoint and SaaS security configurations using Terraform, version control, merge requests, CI pipelines, and automated rollouts.
- Design and support automation for secure endpoint deployment, configuration, patching, and software distribution.
- Manage AI guardrails, MCP servers, approved AI agents, endpoint tools, prompt security evaluations, and reviews of vibe-coded applications.
- Assess third-party systems and AI-feature risks and conduct architecture, design, and process automation reviews.
- Partner with Detection and Response on focus areas, incident workflows, and defenses against business email compromise.
- Conduct security assessments and provide security principles and tooling for Compass’s growing agent population and new markets.
Requirements
- Deep practical experience in at least one core domain such as endpoint management, identity, AI security, or infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong proficiency in scripting or programming with Python or Go.
- Hands-on Terraform and GitOps expertise, including module design, state management, code reviews, and pipeline-based deployments.
- Deep knowledge of endpoint management platforms such as Jamf Pro, FleetDM, MDM, or EDR, particularly for securing macOS environments at scale.
- Experience configuring security controls for cloud identity providers such as Okta, Google Workspace, or LDAP, as well as SSO, Data Loss Prevention, and firewalls.
- Specific experience managing Okta tool usage and MCPs.
- Ability to explain vulnerabilities, remediation techniques, and technical protocol functions including SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, SMTP, and DNS.
- Experience or interest in threat modeling, security assessments, and guiding development teams toward better security outcomes.
- Transferable experience from adjacent security, systems, or platform engineering backgrounds is welcomed.
