Senior Salesforce Developer (Costa Rica)

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Lead technical workstreams and client deliverables while meeting business requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with consultants, architects, and client stakeholders.
- Develop Salesforce integrations with third-party applications using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and middleware technologies.
- Configure and extend Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, and related automation capabilities.
- Perform code reviews, debug complex issues, document solutions, and promote Salesforce development standards.
- Forecast technical risks, communicate issues, and recommend practical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute reusable assets, accelerators, and development standards.
- Support business development through technical solutioning, effort estimation, and proposal contributions.
- Use AI tools and technologies to improve analysis, delivery efficiency, insights, and client outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience delivering Salesforce implementations in consulting or professional services environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, data model, integration patterns, and development best practices.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP API integrations using modern integration frameworks.
- Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, or other Salesforce AI capabilities; experience with Agentforce configuration, prompt templates, or AI actions is preferred.
- Ability to independently manage technical workstreams and deliver high-quality client outcomes.
- Experience with code reviews, debugging complex issues, and Salesforce development best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II and additional Salesforce certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or other Salesforce industry solutions is a plus.
- Experience integrating AI tools such as ChatGPT into daily workflows and evaluating accuracy, bias, and output quality.
- Permanent authorization to work in Costa Rica without employer sponsorship.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
