Responsibilities

Own CI/CD workflows for trunk-based development, PR-to-staging promotion, and daily production deployments.
Build and operate infrastructure-as-code and cloud-agnostic deployment templates, with GCP as the primary cloud.
Establish observability and monitoring baselines covering metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
Maintain uptime and participate in an on-call rotation with the SRE.
Implement GitOps, drift detection, PR-driven infrastructure changes, and ephemeral environments.
Design and operate safe deployment practices including canary or progressive rollouts, feature-flag integration, and instant rollback.
Operate Kubernetes and container infrastructure for latency-sensitive services, including scheduling, autoscaling, and resource tuning.
Manage networking, secrets, least-privilege IAM, and infrastructure cost efficiency.
Develop infrastructure tooling in Go or Python and debug issues at the packet, deployment-log, metric, and routing levels.

At least 7 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience.
Deep GCP experience and real multi-cloud production experience across at least two cloud providers.
Strong infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform-class tooling.
Experience operating CI/CD for high-cadence, daily-deploy, trunk-based engineering teams.
Programming experience in Go or Python rather than relying only on YAML.
Strong understanding of TCP/UDP, TLS, HTTP/2, WebSocket, DNS, and load balancing; RTP/SIP experience is preferred.
Strong monitoring, observability, uptime, GitOps, deployment safety, and rollback experience.
Deep Kubernetes and container experience, including GKE-class scheduling, autoscaling, and resource tuning.
Experience with secrets management, least-privilege IAM, SOC 2-ready infrastructure, ephemeral environments, and cloud cost optimization.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving startup-style environment and adapt to changing technologies and priorities.
