Base Salary
$151k - $309k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AI-powered automations and agentic workflows for Customer Care agents.
- Build and maintain integrations between LLM-based systems and Salesforce, Amazon Connect, and iPaaS workflow automation platforms.
- Prototype autonomous agentic solutions with appropriate human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain system reliability.
- Monitor AI system performance, respond to incidents, and improve systems using operational data and agent feedback.
- Partner with software engineers, Salesforce developers, and operations stakeholders to automate care workflows.
- Use AI-augmented development tools to improve development velocity and code quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful hands-on experience building AI/ML systems in production.
- Practical experience with large language models, agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, and prompt engineering.
- Strong backend engineering skills in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and integrations across enterprise systems.
- Ability to evaluate automation accuracy, latency, and cost trade-offs in production AI systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Service Cloud, Amazon Connect, Workato or another iPaaS platform, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AWS AI/ML services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, and Lambda.
