Base Salary
$145k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software components supporting AI/ML models, agentic processes, and data pipelines.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve algorithms used in behavioral detectors.
- Build scalable, fault-resilient, highly available, and secure platform services.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and threat researchers to integrate AI/ML features into the product architecture.
- Develop APIs, address database scalability challenges, implement data migrations, and support configuration management across services.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and agile development processes.
- Implement well-scoped features with limited guidance and address technical debt while maintaining clean, efficient code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience, preferably in backend, cloud, or security-related systems.
- Strong knowledge of Python, Go, or an equivalent programming language and solid programming fundamentals.
- Experience or familiarity with distributed, highly available cloud-based systems, version control, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with or familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, APIs, databases, and infrastructure tooling.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, collaboration, and independent execution skills.
- Preferred qualifications include machine learning or statistics knowledge, AWS or Azure cloud services, HashiCorp tooling, PostgreSQL and SQL optimization, and cybersecurity or NDR experience.
- Preferred knowledge includes network detection and response tools, threat detection, intrusion prevention, and incident response strategies.
