Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and maintenance of reliable, scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines across multiple AWS accounts.
- Design infrastructure solutions using Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages.
- Establish and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to improve reliability and performance.
- Design monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions with AI/ML-supported anomaly detection and predictive alerting.
- Lead incident response, conduct blameless post-mortems, and implement preventive measures to reduce MTTR.
- Apply AI for log analysis, pattern recognition, root cause analysis, operational diagnostics, and intelligent automation.
- Collaborate with development, operations, product, data engineering, business, and data science teams on reliability requirements.
- Promote SRE practices including toil reduction, capacity planning, chaos engineering, and AI-enhanced DevOps.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues, provide technical guidance, lead knowledge-sharing sessions, and guide team members on operational procedures.
- Develop runbooks, documentation, and knowledge bases and contribute to enterprise-wide reusable reliability solutions.
- Stay current with SRE, DevOps, AIOps, AI, and machine learning technologies and share relevant learnings with the broader team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and leading incident response.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into operational workflows and implementing AI-powered monitoring and observability solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Extensive AWS experience, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and familiarity with SageMaker.
- In-depth knowledge of RDS and database engines including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, management, and resilience patterns.
- Expertise in monitoring and automation, or specialization in one of these areas with AI integration capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks and tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, and OpenAI.
- Understanding of AIOps practices, operational intelligence platforms, AI-powered log analysis, automated diagnostics, machine learning for capacity planning, and MLOps concepts.
- Experience with AI-powered automation tools, intelligent alerting systems, cloud-native operations, and multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with application security, compliance frameworks, DevSecOps, and AI-powered security monitoring.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar workflow automation and CI/CD tools, and Argo CD.
- Experience contributing to enterprise-wide reusable reliability solutions and familiarity with AI-powered chatbots or virtual assistants for incident management.
- Ability to mentor colleagues, lead medium-complexity projects, communicate across teams, and continuously learn about SRE, DevOps, AIOps, and AI technologies.
