Base Salary
$120k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain production software for supply chain sourcing.
- Create functional, destructive, unit, and performance test suites to support reliable and rapid deployments.
- Contribute reusable foundational code, architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and technical roadmaps.
- Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.
- Design systems for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security.
- Collaborate with product teams to make user stories developer-ready, understandable, and testable.
- Lead technical discussions, answer product and engineering questions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Identify team gaps and suggest changes that improve team productivity.
- Support refactoring and modernization of legacy systems.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field, or equivalent qualifications as stated by the posting.
- At least 3 years of work experience; 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Extensive experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools, and modern software design patterns.
- Experience with security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication.
- Experience creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests.
- Experience with debugging, root cause analysis, and version control systems.
- Experience designing for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security.
- Exposure to technical roadmaps, work estimation, refactoring, and legacy-system modernization.
