Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead Salesforce solution architecture, configuration, development, implementation, release management, and ongoing platform support.
- Own the Digital Learning Salesforce instance and research emerging Salesforce Education Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud technologies.
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions and changes for preproduction and production environments, and conduct peer reviews.
- Create and enforce release-management, source-control, security, governance, documentation, and testing practices.
- Configure Salesforce security controls including profiles, permission sets, permission set groups, sharing rules, role hierarchy, and field-level security.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, model data, troubleshoot performance, and improve system usability.
- Support integrations, user acceptance testing, release training, and technical troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with administrators, campus partners, stakeholders, end users, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor others, provide work direction, and manage multiple short-term and long-term projects and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and Salesforce Platform Developer I certification are required.
- Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud or Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce architecture and Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud is required.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding best practices is required.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, middleware tools, ETL processes, Salesforce DevOps practices, Salesforce DX, version control, and Git is required.
- Preferred qualifications include three or more years of progressively responsible Salesforce development experience.
- Experience with Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, higher education, ETL technologies, Git-based Salesforce deployments, complex data sets, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, meet deadlines under pressure, communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences, and work in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.
