Base Salary
$190k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex platform features.
- Contribute across the full stack while specializing in frontend, backend, or infrastructure.
- Make architecture and technical decisions supporting scalability, performance, reliability, and user-focused improvements.
- Optimize performance and system reliability as the user base grows.
- Build data- and analytics-informed tools that provide actionable insights to business leaders and event organizers.
- Drive MVP experimentation while balancing rapid iteration with sustainable growth and developer experience.
- Contribute to frontend design systems, database design, or DevOps and infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of growth and collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience leading complex technical projects with significant business impact.
- Strong expertise in a specific technical area such as frontend, backend, or infrastructure, along with broad full-stack knowledge.
- Proficiency with relevant technologies such as React, React Native, TypeScript, and AWS or similar cloud providers.
- Experience with mobile application development or backend systems.
- Experience with scalability, performance optimization, and tools supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to lead initiatives, mentor others, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience at consumer, social, or marketplace companies is preferred.
- GitHub profile or portfolio of past projects should be included with the application.
