Responsibilities
- Design and implement core components for a marketing automation platform based on business and product requirements.
- Develop server-side application code for distributed, high-throughput APIs and services.
- Own a significant product component through design and implementation.
- Ensure product quality through code reviews and unit tests.
- Fix bugs and implement product enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers on roadmaps and projects.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with Python, Ruby, and/or J2EE technology or an equivalent object-oriented paradigm.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems design, scalable software platforms, object-oriented programming, and design skills.
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, and AWS.
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with container-based solutions is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment is preferred.
