Base Salary
$100k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Ping Identity solutions for SSO, MFA, and adaptive authentication.
- Develop and maintain authentication policies, selectors, and adapters for complex user journeys.
- Use PingOne DaVinci to orchestrate low-code identity workflows and integrate third-party security services.
- Use Ping REST APIs and scripting to automate operational tasks, monitoring, and administrative functions.
- Support Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes by integrating Ping components with upstream identity sources and downstream service providers.
- Migrate legacy applications to OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, and SCIM.
- Troubleshoot authentication issues, LDAP queries, and synchronization errors across the Ping ecosystem.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application-owner teams to support reliable identity orchestration at scale.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and automated operational runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, IAM engineering, or API platform architecture.
- Experience with a no-code or low-code workflow development platform.
- Hands-on experience with Ping Identity, including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and/or PingOne.
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC identity protocols.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Postman.
- Scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or a similar language.
- Preferred: deep LDAP knowledge, especially with Ping Directory.
- Preferred: experience with DevOps environments, configuration automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred: strong JavaScript knowledge and advanced JSON use for IAM workflows, REST integrations, and event handling.
- Preferred: basic HTML and CSS proficiency for custom UI, branding, and hosted-page integration.
- Preferred: identity orchestration and authentication-flow modernization experience, including PingOne DaVinci.
- Preferred: certifications in Ping Identity or major IAM platforms.
