Responsibilities
- Own deployment, management, monitoring, reliability, availability, and scalability of production cloud infrastructure in a LiveOps environment.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures using Infrastructure as Code, with Pulumi as a core technology.
- Develop and maintain cloud automation, testing, CI/CD, and containerized infrastructure in collaboration with code and build teams.
- Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, health metrics, security, and engineering workflows across the cloud estate.
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis, implement preventative improvements, and participate in an on-call rota.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a similar production-focused role.
- Strong experience with Git and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code; Pulumi experience is desirable.
- Strong experience with monitoring, logging, incident response, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience containerizing applications and operating infrastructure such as Docker, ECS, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, reliability, scalability, and operational best practices.
- Desirable experience with Microsoft PlayFab, games or LiveOps environments, Perforce, and mentoring or providing technical leadership within a DevOps or Platform team.
