Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate resilient cloud platforms covering compute, networking, storage, and GPU clusters.
- Implement structured and auditable CI/CD and GitOps delivery pipelines for automated infrastructure changes.
- Deploy governance and security controls using Policy-as-Code, Kyverno, and YAML.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and SLO frameworks to support robust operations and future SRE work.
- Build self-service platform capabilities for Research and Data teams, including Python notebooks and distributed clusters.
Requirements
- Demonstrated platform engineering experience architecting and automating operational processes.
- Expertise with at least one major cloud provider: OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with Terraform for large-scale declarative infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience operating and managing large-scale, resilient Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in a systems-level programming language such as Python, Go, or Java, plus scripting experience.
- Familiarity with modern Policy-as-Code tooling and experience supporting ML and Data Engineering workloads are desirable.
