Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate the cloud platform, including resilient compute, networking, storage, and GPU clusters.
- Implement structured, auditable delivery pipelines for automated and repeatable infrastructure changes.
- Design and deploy governance and security controls using Policy-as-Code, Kyverno, and YAML.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and service-level objectives for robust platform operations.
- Build self-service capabilities with Research and Data teams for Python notebooks and distributed workloads.
Requirements
- Proven platform engineering experience with a track record of architecting and automating operational processes.
- Expertise with at least one major cloud provider: OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with Terraform for large-scale infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience operating and managing large-scale, resilient Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with scripting experience.
- Familiarity with modern Policy-as-Code tooling is desirable.
- Experience supporting ML and Data Engineering workloads is desirable.
