Responsibilities

  • Design, build, automate, and operate secure, scalable, highly available Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform services and workloads.
  • Manage OCI networking, compute, storage, identity, DNS, load balancing, object storage, monitoring, and logging.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, security controls, and audit requirements.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, capacity management, backup, disaster recovery, and incident-response procedures.
  • Manage patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and service reliability for cloud workloads.
  • Support application, research, data, and AI teams with reusable cloud patterns, self-service capabilities, and technical guidance.
  • Optimize OCI consumption, performance, and cost while maintaining architecture documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or another major public cloud platform and secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring, and backup.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Linux administration experience and scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Desirable qualifications include OCI certifications, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional.
  • Desirable experience includes Oracle Kubernetes Engine, Docker, Kubernetes, AI or research workloads, high-performance computing, cloud security, vulnerability management, compliance controls, VMware, hybrid cloud, and on-premises integration.
