Base Salary
$160k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art 3D rendering of sensor data using GenAI/ML and traditional 3D graphics.
- Develop realism metrics with V&V teams to measure improvements in sensor fidelity.
- Collaborate with Perception, Hardware, and Safety teams to improve real-time sensor simulation and high-fidelity synthetic data.
- Improve rendering and tooling for generating realistic data at scale.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of production experience implementing 3D graphics algorithms using Vulkan and OpenGL.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with modern C++ and Python.
- Experience with neural rendering techniques such as Gaussian Splatting and NeRFs.
- Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong mathematical skills and understanding of 3D linear algebra and probabilistic techniques.
- A bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field is a bonus qualification.
- Bonus experience includes generative models for 3D content pipelines, 3D rendering for simulation, games, cloud computing, or VFX.
