Base Salary
$242k - $333k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of behavioral models for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists within the Perception Attributes team.
- Create and maintain perception attribute models that generate signals for autonomous vehicle behavior understanding and prediction.
- Collaborate with Prediction and Planning teams to optimize model outputs for real-time driving decisions.
- Work with data labeling and ontology teams on road-user attribute definitions.
- Develop auto-labeling and data-mining strategies for different perception attributes.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in computer science or a related field.
- At least seven years of relevant experience.
- Experience training and deploying deep learning models.
- Experience with knowledge distillation from large foundation models.
- Experience with production machine learning pipelines, including dataset creation, training frameworks, and metrics pipelines.
- Fluency in Python and extensive algorithm-design experience.
- Strong mathematics skills.
