Base Salary
$208k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement metrics measuring the accuracy of simulated sensors, agents, and virtual environments.
- Develop simulator-evaluation strategies, including dataset mining, and implement large-scale evaluation pipelines.
- Write design proposals, drive execution, and proactively communicate risks to partner teams.
- Drive consensus on validation methodologies with Autonomy, Safety, and Simulation teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative evaluation, autonomous robotics, or sensor data analysis involving lidar, camera, or radar.
- Proficiency in Python, Pandas, NumPy, SQL, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Working knowledge of applied statistical methods such as histograms, probability distributions, and simple hypothesis testing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively seek clarity in dynamic environments.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
