Base Salary
$141k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and document software tools for new and existing Insulet products.
- Ensure software designs comply with company policies and medical-product design and maintenance requirements.
- Write and maintain design documentation and testing requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, UX, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to meet technical, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
- Integrate, debug, and test systems with software, software QA, and UX engineers.
- Participate in product design reviews and provide technical leadership to internal and external development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Software Engineering, with 7+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree in an appropriate field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, and/or C++.
- Hands-on experience developing applications for Android, iOS, and web platforms.
- Ability to serve as a technical lead and direct development efforts.
- Working knowledge of software design and strong software engineering development skills.
- Experience developing software for mobile and web platforms; medical-device experience is preferred.
- Object-oriented programming knowledge and familiarity with software development life-cycle concepts are useful or preferred.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain a section of a design and work independently with minimal supervision.
