Base Salary
$219k - $315k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end SSE pipeline ecosystem across weekly, nightly, and CI execution.
- Deploy prototype pipelines as stable, production-grade, CI-enforced systems across branches.
- Build dashboards, metrics, and KPIs that communicate pipeline health and software quality trends.
- Investigate cross-platform and determinism failures and develop instrumentation and tooling to diagnose them.
- Support checker rollouts, testing strategy, and the scaling of SSE infrastructure.
- Create automation scripts, system design diagrams, and documentation for maintenance and customer communication.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, aerospace, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience working on large codebases.
- Experience developing with Bazel and Python and setting up backend infrastructure such as databases, web servers, and shell scripts.
- Experience interfacing with software written in C++ and Python.
- Experience with enterprise-scale deployment practices and issues.
- Ability to draft system design diagrams and documentation.
- Preferred experience with PipeDream, Airflow, and Looker.
- Preferred proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, and C++, including memory management, threading, and debugging patterns.
