Base Salary
$219k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the reliability and operational excellence of the continuous deployment platform.
- Build and maintain the paved path for continuous delivery and the safety mechanisms that make deployments trustworthy.
- Partner with application teams and SRE to move services onto the platform.
- Convert recurring deployment friction into reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off support.
- Set the technical bar for safely shipping code to production and mentor engineers.
- Turn ambiguous customer problems into concrete plans with measurable outcomes and onboard internal customers.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in platform, infrastructure, or production operations.
- Require hands-on experience with a continuous deployment system in a large organization; Harness is preferred, with ArgoCD, Spinnaker, or other relevant systems also applicable.
- Require hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
- Require expertise with Python, Go, or Bash and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Require excellent customer-facing skills, delivery judgment, self-direction, and the ability to prioritize high-impact problems.
- Bonus: experience building multi-tenant internal platforms used by many teams.
- Bonus: experience migrating many teams from a legacy system to a new one.
