Base Salary
$130k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Expand Replit’s cloud infrastructure offerings and launch cloud products for Replit Agent
- Design and implement application deployment features with cross-functional teams
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize critical paths for reliability and scalability
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems and work with the SRE team to maintain high availability and minimal downtime
- Optimize cloud infrastructure utilization and reduce expenses without compromising performance or reliability
- Apply resource provisioning, auto-scaling, cost-aware scheduling, and data lifecycle management strategies
Requirements
- Experience with platform-as-a-service, distributed storage, or information retrieval systems
- Experience designing scalable architectures and optimizing systems for latency or cost
- Ability to solve complex problems pragmatically and ship incrementally
- Ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and drive projects forward
- Versatility across different layers of the stack and adaptability to project needs
- Passion for continuous learning and keeping current with industry trends
- Cloud infrastructure or platform product experience, especially application deployment, serverless computing, or container orchestration, is preferred
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services and tools such as GCE, GKE, Cloud Run, or Cloud Storage is preferred
- Open-source contributions related to cloud technologies, deployment frameworks, or developer tools are preferred
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation of at least six people
- Interest in working with Linux internals
