Base Salary
$130k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Expand Replit’s cloud infrastructure offerings and launch cloud products used by Replit Agent.
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems for application deployment.
- Identify bottlenecks, optimize critical paths, and build monitoring and alerting systems.
- Work with the SRE team to improve availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure utilization and costs through provisioning, auto-scaling, cost-aware scheduling, and data lifecycle management.
- Participate in an on-call rotation of at least six people.
Requirements
- Track record working with platform-as-a-service, distributed storage, or information retrieval systems.
- Experience designing scalable architectures and optimizing systems for latency or cost.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, autonomy, adaptability, and ability to work across multiple layers of the stack.
- Ability and willingness to dive into Linux internals and participate in on-call.
- Preferred experience with cloud infrastructure or platform products, application deployment, serverless computing, or container orchestration.
- Preferred familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services and tools including GCE, GKE, Cloud Run, or Cloud Storage.
- Open-source contributions related to cloud technologies, deployment frameworks, or developer tools are a plus.
