Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance application systems using Java/J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, microservices, and APIs.
- Analyze code and applications, identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and perform testing and debugging.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support customer exposure systems.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues using acquired technical experience and established precedents.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and manage technology and control risks while adhering to applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry and 6+ years of total experience.
- Intermediate-level experience in application development.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Competence with Java/J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, microservices, APIs, and Oracle Database; exposure to React.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across multiple global teams, solve problems creatively and analytically, and manage deadlines and changing requirements.
