Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems and robust APIs for mobile, web, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Use Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.
- Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, analytics integrations, and geolocation-based access controls.
- Support infrastructure automation, monitoring systems, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product, finance, compliance, security, data analytics, and support teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and support engineers by sharing best practices and contributing to technical excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs, working with CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of system performance optimization, security best practices, and regulatory compliance, including AML, KYC, and data privacy.
- Experience with data pipelines, analytics integrations, and geolocation-based access controls.
- Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers and sharing engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience with incident management, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong collaboration skills across product, finance, compliance, and support teams.
