Base Salary
$111k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based information systems on AWS, including technical specifications, research, feasibility studies, and system documentation.
- Develop and manage cloud storage architectures, including S3 bucket configurations, storage lifecycle policies, backup solutions, and data retention strategies.
- Build data engineering solutions, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and analytics components using Python or Java.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and configure CI/CD pipelines using CloudBees.
- Develop AI and Agentic AI solutions using MCP Services under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Monitor AWS resources, application operations, performance metrics, and system utilization using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, participate in code reviews, analyze performance, and escalate complex problems appropriately.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations while supporting security and compliance initiatives.
- Create technical documentation, user guides, operational procedures, troubleshooting materials, training content, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide user support and training during implementation and post-deployment phases.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing and managing enterprise cloud backup and storage solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Data Domain.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Rubrik.
- At least 3 years of Python development experience.
- University degree preferred.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification preferred.
- Experience with AWS Backup Services, Dell Networker, Splunk, AI/ML workflows, data pipelines, and MLOps practices preferred.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, data engineering, monitoring, systems design, API integration, containerization, and enterprise application integration preferred.
