Base Salary

$111k - $152k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based information systems on AWS, including technical specifications, feasibility studies, documentation, and flow charts.
  • Develop and manage cloud storage architectures, S3 bucket configurations, lifecycle policies, retention strategies, and enterprise backup solutions.
  • Build data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, analytics components, and automation scripts using Python or Java.
  • Provision and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and configure CI/CD pipelines using CloudBees.
  • Develop AI and Agentic AI solutions using MCP Services under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Monitor resource utilization, application operations, performance metrics, and system health using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, participate in code reviews, analyze performance, and escalate complex problems.
  • Create technical documentation, user guides, operational procedures, troubleshooting materials, training content, and knowledge base articles.
  • Provide user support and training during implementation and post-deployment phases.
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations while supporting security and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience implementing and managing enterprise cloud backup and storage solutions.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Data Domain.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Rubrik.
  • At least 3 years of Python development experience.
  • University degree preferred.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification preferred.
  • Experience with AWS Backup Services, Dell Networker, Splunk, AI/ML workflows, data pipelines, and MLOps practices preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, automation, data engineering, systems design, application integration, and scalable and reliable operations.
