Base Salary

$61k - $93k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, test, debug, deploy, maintain, integrate, and validate software systems and applications.
  • Support the full software product lifecycle, including coding, documentation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Write modular, reusable, testable, scalable code and corresponding unit tests.
  • Participate in software design reviews and derive algorithm designs from detailed requirements.
  • Use JIRA to maintain accurate work logs and task status.
  • Work with multiple software development teams and other engineering disciplines.
  • Follow the company's software development process and contribute under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support software design and development using the Scrum Framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience developing Windows or Linux application software.
  • Object-oriented design experience and expertise in C#/.NET, Java, C++, and/or Web UI.
  • Familiarity with source code configuration management tools such as SVN and Git.
  • Experience writing unit tests, using an IDE, and applying basic debugging techniques.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, databases, and operating systems, along with mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include Qt, test-driven development, Android, iOS, React/Redux web development, and basic networking knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, collaborate, learn continuously, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR regulations or be eligible for an export license; some positions require current U.S. citizenship.
