Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based tools, APIs, and Ansible automation for network operations and infrastructure management.
- Design and implement highly available, secure, and performant networking solutions in AWS ECS environments.
- Build self-service tools and improve deployment, configuration management, and CI/CD workflows.
- Use Splunk and New Relic for logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot software, infrastructure, and networking issues; support production systems and lead root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to optimize configurations, remediate vulnerabilities, and improve resiliency.
Requirements
- Strong Python development experience.
- Hands-on AWS experience, specifically with ECS.
- Experience using Splunk and New Relic for monitoring and observability.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
