Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and operationalization of machine learning models and data solutions.
- Guide model training, validation, optimization, fine-tuning, and performance improvement.
- Provide technical direction for maintainable, scalable software and machine learning solutions.
- Guide the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for model deployment.
- Oversee testing, automation, monitoring, security compliance, integration, and production delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment workflows, operational procedures, design documents, code comments, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, software engineers, platform engineers, IT operations, QA testers, and project managers.
- Provide ongoing production support, including incident and problem management, root cause analysis, fault repair, resiliency testing, observability, and request fulfillment.
- Research advances in machine learning and MLOps and implement innovative solutions to improve machine learning capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or at least nine years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least six years of experience in AI, machine learning, MLOps, and/or software development.
- Highly proficient knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies and practices, particularly MLOps and DevOps.
- Highly proficient knowledge of software development tools, platforms, languages, and cloud platforms.
- Proven experience developing, integrating, testing, and deploying cloud-based or internet-related software solutions.
- Expert knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Proven experience developing microservices and in-depth knowledge of integration patterns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Certified Software Development Professional certification or equivalent certification.
- Preferred experience with GenAI and productionizing externally facing applications.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be at least eighteen years of age.
