Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated software tests for qualification of embedded software products.
- Develop and integrate safety-critical embedded real-time software for flight and mission-critical systems.
- Analyze requirements allocated to computer software configuration items.
- Support software architecture, design, implementation, integration, debugging, installation, acceptance testing, and operational events.
- Diagnose problems with software developers and other engineers and submit detailed problem reports.
- Create clear and concise technical documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage assigned technical tasks across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Principal level requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related engineering experience, a STEM master’s degree and 3 years, or a STEM PhD and 1 year.
- Sr. Principal level requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related engineering experience, a STEM master’s degree and 6 years, or a STEM PhD and 4 years.
- Experience with safety-critical embedded real-time software and C/C++ and Python development.
- Experience with software architecture, design, implementation, integration, debugging, and testing on real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, Integrity, or Real Time Embedded Linux.
- Experience with software change control, change management, and tools such as Atlassian tool suite, GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Ability to obtain, transfer, and maintain a final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance and any required program access, including upgraded SAP/PAR access.
- Preferred qualifications include UAV route planning, routing algorithms, geometrically based algorithms, static code analysis tools, MATLAB, avionics systems, Python/MATLAB/JavaScript/Bash scripting, multithreaded C/C++ programming, SOAP, Java services, demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
