Responsibilities
- Further develop the generic X++ extension that exchanges data between Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and the organization’s software solutions.
- Build and refine robust, scalable architecture within F&O for configurable synchronization with standard and custom entities.
- Improve error handling, logging, tracing, and performance within the extension.
- Apply F&O extension models, data entities, batch processing, and asynchronous processing.
- Support implementation consultants and support staff with in-depth knowledge of the ISV extension.
- Contribute to maintenance, release management, and quality assurance of the ISV solution.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a software developer in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or AX.
- Strong command of X++ and experience setting up, extending, and maintaining F&O extensions.
- Deep understanding of F&O data models, data entities, REST APIs, SOAP endpoints, and XML/JSON handling within F&O.
- Experience with ISV solutions, multi-tenant environments, or third-party F&O customizations.
- Experience with generic solutions and configuration-driven development patterns.
- Good communication skills and a structured, analytical approach.
- Knowledge of F&O production and supply chain components is advantageous.
- Experience with CPQ environments or product configuration processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Azure integration solutions is advantageous.
- Experience working with international teams and ISV partners is advantageous.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation within F&O is advantageous.
- Experience with other Dynamics family solutions, preferably Business Central, is advantageous.
