Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack features across React Native mobile applications and Node.js backend services.
- Write production-ready TypeScript across mobile and backend codebases.
- Design scalable APIs, data models, caching strategies, and services, and contribute to architecture reviews and technical decisions.
- Build performant and accessible mobile experiences using React Native, Expo, React Query, and Uniwind.
- Develop and maintain backend services integrated with Azure Kubernetes Service and Redis.
- Enhance GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and implement observability with New Relic.
- Identify technical debt, performance issues, and reliability risks.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript across frontend and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with React Native and Expo.
- Experience with React Query or TanStack Query for state management and data fetching.
- Backend development experience with Node.js.
- Working knowledge of Redis for caching, queues, and session management.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and New Relic or similar observability tools.
- Ability to make architectural decisions involving API design, scalability, and performance.
- Strong understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical trade-offs.
- Preferred qualifications include Tailwind or Uniwind experience, mobile security and secure storage knowledge, Kubernetes networking, Istio or service mesh experience, event-driven architectures or message queues, and open-source contributions.
