Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive React UI components and integrate them with backend APIs.
- Design and develop Python/FastAPI RESTful APIs, including business logic, validation, and error handling.
- Write queries and support schema design for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and relational databases.
- Deploy and support workloads on Azure and assist with CI/CD pipelines.
- Write frontend and backend unit and integration tests using Jest, RTL, and Pytest.
- Debug performance issues, resolve systems integration and compatibility problems, and support the application lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and Agile/Scrum collaboration with QA, product owners, and engineering counterparts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Hands-on expertise with React.js, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5/CSS3, and Redux or Context API.
- Hands-on expertise with Python, FastAPI or similar frameworks such as Flask or Django, REST API design, and Pydantic/data validation.
- SQL fundamentals and experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases.
- Experience with Git, testing frameworks such as Jest and Pytest, debugging, and collaborative software development.
- Preferred qualifications include TypeScript, MUI, Ant Design, Tailwind, Python asynchronous programming, SQLAlchemy/ORM, message queues, Azure DevOps pipelines, Docker, Azure AD, Agile/Scrum, WCAG, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Azure services.
