Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write clean, maintainable, modular, and well-tested code using enterprise engineering standards and design patterns.
- Implement unit, integration, and contract testing strategies.
- Participate in peer code reviews and uphold code quality and security standards.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and version control workflows.
- Troubleshoot technical defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture decision records, API specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Evaluate technical debt, modernize legacy systems, and support adoption of cloud-native practices.
- Assess and manage risks, comply with applicable regulations and policies, and safeguard company and client assets.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant hands-on software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, object-oriented programming, and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Tekton, and deployment platforms such as Harness.
- Proficiency with Git, including GitHub and/or Bitbucket.
- Preferred familiarity with Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
- Preferred familiarity with Python for scripting, automation, or service development.
- Familiarity with OpenShift or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Understanding of secure coding standards, OWASP, vulnerability remediation, and audit/compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Couchbase is a plus.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- A related master’s degree is preferred.
