$276k - $276k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, train, optimize, and deploy machine learning models, including NER, personalization, prediction, and LLM fine-tuning models.
- Build production-ready ML systems and integrate AI features into Atlassian services with engineering, product, and analytics teams.
- Conduct experimentation and model evaluation while ensuring deployed models are performant, scalable, and reliable.
- Define and monitor product metrics and use data analysis to guide improvements and measure impact.
- Contribute to foundational model development and research advancing machine learning techniques for Atlassian AI offerings.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leaders through presentations and insights.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Three years of related work experience, including building and scaling machine learning models using large amounts of data.
- Three years of experience with Spark and cloud data environments such as AWS, Databricks, or Azure.
- Three years of experience using Python or Java to write performant, production-quality code.
- Three years of experience with anomaly detection for dataset analysis used to train, validate, and ship machine learning models.
- Three years of experience with SQL and BI tooling such as Tableau, Excel, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
