Base Salary
$110k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data processing pipelines and large-scale data processing platforms.
- Build distributed systems, data pipelines, and ETL solutions.
- Contribute hands-on across design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, and performance activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, clinical informaticists, architects, and other engineers.
- Apply problem-solving skills and learn quickly within the healthcare domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- At least three years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Experience writing production-quality, efficient, multithreaded code for cloud environments.
- Experience reviewing data specifications and handling large-scale data storage and distribution using specialized protocols.
- Experience debugging and resolving complex production issues in distributed systems.
- Proven experience with cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.
- Azure experience is preferred; AWS or GCP experience is relevant.
