Responsibilities
- Design scalable Java, microservices, and cloud architectures.
- Modernize legacy applications and migrate them to the cloud.
- Select and substantiate appropriate technologies and architectural approaches.
- Analyze and resolve complex performance, integration, and technical-debt challenges.
- Advise clients, developers, stakeholders, and scrum teams on technical decisions.
- Safeguard the security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of architectures.
- Analyze customers’ existing application landscapes and define improvements for speed, scalability, and future readiness.
- Coach and guide team members and share expertise within Sogeti’s Java community.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of professional experience as a Senior Java Developer or Architect in complex development environments.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Java, Java frameworks, and modern software development principles.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud environments.
- Experience coaching and guiding team members.
- Strong ability to inspire others about technology and act as an advisor and connector.
- C1-level proficiency in spoken and written Dutch and excellent English communication skills.
