Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services for advertising tax calculation, regulatory compliance, and invoicing across global jurisdictions.
- Build and maintain promotion engines that manage advertiser credits and incentive programs at scale.
- Develop government e-invoicing integrations for worldwide marketplaces.
- Deliver features across the billing stack from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and operations.
- Collaborate on scalable, maintainable architectures and participate in design and code reviews.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement of billing services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
