Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Build responsive, reusable user interfaces with React and JavaScript.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work with SQL databases, including queries, stored procedures, database objects, and data-access optimization.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Contribute to architecture, technical design, modernization, migration, performance optimization, and solution evaluation.
- Develop unit and integration tests, investigate defects, and resolve production issues.
- Follow secure coding practices and contribute to application security improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code and technical reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, QA, and engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and communicate technical progress and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of hands-on industry experience in software development.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, React, JavaScript, SQL, relational databases, and RESTful APIs.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted software development and prompt engineering for code generation, debugging, code review, documentation, and solution design.
- Experience with web application architecture, client-server communication, software design principles, design patterns, clean coding, debugging, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of Git and source-code management practices and experience in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
- Demonstrable experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications across frontend, backend, and SQL/database layers.
- Experience with technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, production support, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Java or Java-based backend applications, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, CI/CD tools, Docker, AWS, Azure, automated testing, monitoring, logging, performance analysis, microservices, or OWASP principles is advantageous.
