Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust software for satellite vehicle systems while balancing short- and long-term technical needs.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and develop reliable, high-performance, secure over-the-air update capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot support issues, triage bugs, and maintain satellite system operations.
- Identify and resolve root causes of persistent software problems while simplifying existing systems.
- Write and review code, participate in design discussions, and provide responsive support for critical satellite software issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object-Oriented Design experience and programming experience in at least one software language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees due to export-control requirements.
