Responsibilities
- Own partner and customer integration delivery from qualification, scoping, and build through handoff.
- Run qualification assessments covering systems, data flows, risk, and implementation approach.
- Build and configure integration connectors, data mappings, and partner adapters.
- Act as the primary technical contact for partner technical teams and coordinate with Platform/API squads.
- Ensure integrations meet standards for idempotency, observability, secrets management, data minimization, and sandbox testing.
- Prepare runbooks, dashboards, on-call assignments, and support playbooks for handoff.
- Identify reusable integration patterns and contribute them to shared libraries or platform configuration.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend software development experience with hands-on API integrations, webhooks, and data mapping.
- Experience working directly with external partners and end customers in a technical capacity.
- Ability to design solutions from scratch and own customer relationships and delivery.
- Deep knowledge of REST, event-driven architectures, OAuth/token management, and idempotency.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages, preferably Java, and comfort across multiple systems and technology stacks.
- Working knowledge of logs, metrics, tracing, alerting, and SLOs.
- Experience with integration platforms or connector frameworks such as N8N, Zapier, or custom-built equivalents.
- Working proficiency in English and Spanish, or English and Portuguese.
- Preferred qualifications include fintech, payments, or financial data infrastructure experience; PCI/PII and compliance familiarity; and AWS, Kafka, or event-streaming experience.
- Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English is a strong plus.
