Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality scalable software.
- Design and implement robust, resilient enterprise applications and cloud-native architecture.
- Contribute to technical design and deliver hands-on code implementations and reusable components.
- Participate in Scrum activities, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Promote engineering excellence across coding, testing, build, deployment, and software maintenance.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, QA, architects, global developers, and business stakeholders.
- Develop solutions involving APIs, databases, event-driven architecture, and application security.
- Keep current with development practices and technologies such as Gen AI and DORA metrics.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Professional experience in the financial services sector and an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Expert-level Java development skills and experience building robust, scalable, resilient enterprise applications.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker, and experience with event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka.
- Experience designing and developing databases on a relational database management system.
- Proficiency in API development and application security practices including OAuth, TLS, and PKI.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, ownership, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Redis or Gemfire, capital markets, and React or Angular.

- Base salary range of $120,800.00 to $170,800.00.
