Base Salary
$100k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex automated automotive system-level test benches.
- Develop verification and validation plans and execute manual and automated test cases and scripts for software functionality, performance, and safety.
- Integrate hardware and software components into reliable test environments and lead system-level debugging, root-cause analysis, fix confirmation, and regression prevention.
- Collaborate with software, controls, systems, hardware, and other cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement validation strategies.
- Improve testing processes and tools, prepare verification reports, review warranty data, and develop corrective actions.
- Drive system validation from concept through production and travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- 6+ years of experience in the automotive or relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, embedded software, control systems, EE architectures, ECUs, and cross-domain integration.
- Experience with automotive testing instrumentation, HIL test benches, automated and manual testing, system-level debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Proficiency with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, DBC, LDF, ARXML, and automotive or internal IDLs and frameworks.
- Experience with dSPACE, Vector VT, or similar platforms and the ability to interpret wiring, logical schematics, network diagrams, and harness drawings.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's or PhD in a relevant engineering field, safety-critical software experience, ISO 26262 familiarity, C/C++, Python, MATLAB, and electric vehicle testing experience.
