Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software development, testing, and release activities.
- Build automated build, packaging, deployment, and release processes for embedded Linux products.
- Develop scripts, tools, and automation solutions using relevant engineering technologies to reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, QA, and systems engineering teams to improve development workflows and productivity.
- Integrate security scanning, vulnerability analysis, and compliance checks into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor pipeline health, build quality, infrastructure performance, and deployment reliability.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and automation issues for engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile planning, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, automation, AI-assisted development tools, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of professional experience in DevOps, software engineering, or related technical roles.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience developing automation tools and scripts with Python and Bash.
- Experience working with Linux-based development environments.
- Understanding of software build systems, release management, and software lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of software quality practices, automated testing integration, and deployment automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto-based systems.
- Preferred familiarity with C/C++, Python, and Bash development environments.
- Preferred experience with Infrastructure as Code, automated environment provisioning, cybersecurity tooling, static code analysis, and security scanning solutions.
- Exposure to AI-assisted software engineering and automation tools is preferred.
