Responsibilities
- Build incident.io’s security function and determine how security should operate from first principles.
- Focus primarily on either Governance, Risk and Compliance or cloud security.
- Secure the product, cloud environment, AI features, and AI-driven workflows.
- Conduct security reviews, testing, and threat modeling, using AI tools where appropriate.
- Partner with engineers, provide actionable security feedback, and block releases when risks warrant it.
Requirements
- Be a security generalist with strong security fundamentals and significant depth in either GRC or cloud security.
- Communicate effectively, including delivering difficult feedback constructively to engineers.
- Demonstrate grit and comfort building processes and functions from close to scratch.
- Have a genuine and deep interest in security.
