Responsibilities
- Own cloud posture and hardening across GCP and GKE.
- Design and maintain least-privilege identity and access controls.
- Build Terraform guardrails and security-as-code controls for engineering teams.
- Secure CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes or container platforms.
- Build cloud detection capabilities and investigate cloud incidents.
- Maintain isolation of customer data in the multi-tenant platform.
- Develop cloud-side security controls for AI features.
- Provide security feedback to engineers and block releases when necessary.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on cloud security experience, ideally with Google Cloud; strong AWS or Azure experience may transfer.
- Experience designing least-privilege IAM.
- Production experience securing Kubernetes or container platforms.
- Ability to write code to resolve security problems.
- Strong Terraform experience.
- Experience building cloud detection capabilities or investigating cloud incidents.
- Comfort working autonomously in a high-growth environment.
- Preferred experience includes Go or Postgres security, policy-as-code, supply chain security, or securing AI/LLM-powered products.
