Responsibilities
- Build prototypes and harden successful solutions for the developer platform.
- Use AI agents for remediation, pipeline upgrades, scanner triage, credential rotation, and other toolchain work.
- Design controls for autonomous agents, including identity, scope, audit trails, and stop controls.
- Create self-service dashboards, MCP servers, skills, and developer tooling on the platform.
- Make secure and correct delivery paths the default in pipelines.
- Run time-boxed experiments and document decisions based on measured outcomes.
- Implement monitoring, telemetry, logging, tracing, and alerting across the platform.
- Work directly with delivery teams and use their findings to influence the roadmap.
- Operate the platform using coded and pre-release-tested zero-downtime practices.
Requirements
- Use test-driven and behaviour-driven development for pipelines, infrastructure, and agents.
- Have practical DevSecOps experience with team-owned pipelines and security integrated into development.
- Have experience with trunk-based development, short-lived branches, pairing, and infrastructure as code.
- Have hands-on observability experience covering monitoring, telemetry, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Have experience improving delivery metrics toward elite DORA performance while understanding broader system outcomes.
- Have hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot.
- Have some experience with CI/CD platforms, patterns, and practices.
- Desirable experience includes C#, Python, TypeScript, Terraform, AWS, Azure, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Artifactory.
- Demonstrate product judgment and experience teaching others through pairing, writing, or internal speaking.
