Responsibilities
- Ensure quality standards across projects by applying quality engineering practices and supporting testing and release planning
- Perform manual testing and help maintain software quality standards
- Collaborate with QA, development, UI/UX, and project management teams to improve the cloud access application user experience
- Analyze product requirements and develop test designs, strategies, setups, and appropriate test cases
- Review testing-related plans, requirements, specifications, tests, results, traceability, design reviews, and reports
- Coordinate with the performance testing team and ensure release testing activities are completed
- Improve quality engineering metrics, reporting, and team processes
- Analyze incoming issues and challenge processes to drive continuous quality improvement
Requirements
- Six to nine years of relevant experience in similar quality engineering or QA roles
- Prior experience at a security software company, preferably in identity and access management
- Experience building customer-centric use cases to improve test quality
- Experience working across multiple product lines in a quality engineering team
- Test automation experience with Selenium, RestAssured, and Python
- Experience with quality engineering metrics and release or sprint reporting
- Experience testing JavaScript and React-based frontend applications
- Ability to own, plan, and manage assigned quality engineering activities
- Exposure to performance testing and tools such as Load/Stress testing and JMeter is preferred
- Experience testing cloud platforms, containers, or cloud providers is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working with distributed teams
