Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
- Write, review, debug, and maintain high-quality production code.
- Lead the team’s adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices, including code review, refactoring, testing, and troubleshooting support.
- Establish validation standards for AI-assisted outputs, including secure coding, peer review, automated testing, correctness, performance, and security.
- Use software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve engineering outcomes.
- Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams concerning architectures, technical credentials, and integration applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and React.js, with hands-on Spring Boot experience.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Financial services or banking industry experience is preferred.
