Base Salary
$154k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize AI infrastructure for LLM-powered wearable AI capabilities.
- Build and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines covering data ingestion through model deployment.
- Drive AI quality initiatives through evaluation frameworks, data flywheels, and model performance monitoring.
- Develop APIs, services, and system architectures for reliable, low-latency AI experiences on wearable devices.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize deployed systems for reliability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with researchers, product managers, and designers and contribute to documentation, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building and scaling production systems.
- Experience with systems design, distributed computing, or backend infrastructure.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with machine learning systems, LLMs, or AI infrastructure.
- Preferred: knowledge of NLP, dialog systems, or agentic AI concepts; an advanced degree; PyTorch or TensorFlow experience; ML infrastructure experience; wearable or assistant AI experience; and distributed-systems performance optimization experience.
