Responsibilities
- Champion adoption of AI-powered testing tools for test design, execution, maintenance, defect analysis, and test coverage.
- Generate, validate, refine, and own AI-assisted test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, desktop, mobile, frontend, backend, API, integration, and customer-use-case testing.
- Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, and regression testing across release phases.
- Apply AI-driven visual testing, self-healing automation, test selection, prioritization, log analysis, and anomaly detection.
- Analyze customer-reported defects, investigate databases and logs, and implement automation to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and SDETs to define scenarios and comprehensive test coverage.
- Review engineering stories, assess risk and impact, and define AI-assisted test strategies.
- Contribute to UI automation, API and integration testing, TDD, ATDD, code quality tooling, and CI/CD workflow improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve pipeline issues, stabilize builds and deployments, and identify build instability through observability tools.
- Evaluate and introduce AI-powered testing tools, document test strategies and tooling decisions, and share knowledge through workshops.
- Test RAG-based conversational AI and conversational bots across intent recognition, context retention, response accuracy, and end-to-end workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in SDET or quality engineering roles, including exposure to AI-assisted testing or tooling.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to write, review, and debug automation code at scale.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium for UI and API testing.
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude, and familiarity with LLMs or AI assistants for test authoring, code review, or defect analysis.
- Understanding of modern software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, TDD, BDD, and ATDD.
- Experience with self-healing test frameworks or AI-driven test maintenance strategies is preferred.
- Working knowledge of database querying, log analysis, anomaly analysis, and AI-assisted observability platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the ability to triage, stabilize, and improve build and deployment workflows.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated test output, debug handwritten and AI-generated automation code, communicate clearly, and document tooling decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, quality-focused approach.
- Hands-on experience with RAG-based conversational AI and automated testing of multi-turn conversational bots is a compelling qualification.
